SHORT HISTORY

Pau Casals, in spite of his intense activity, never abandoned his roots in Catalonia. In 1909 he built Vil·la Casals in Sant Salvador (El Vendrell), where he always would return after his world tours and spend the summers with his family and friends.

DESCRIPTION

Vil·la Casals, the musician’s old summer house, is nowadays a museum which recovers the familiar atmosphere and the beauty the house had during its best period. Visitors will discover the intense life of the famous violoncellist through a contemporary museum route.
