Costa Daurada >> Costa Daurada   The Costa Daurada, which is the name of a large piece of coast by the Mediterranean Sea located south of Barcelona, stands out, like it always has, for its large magnificent beaches with fine golden sand and warm and shallow waters. This, together with the very mild climate – typical Mediterranean weather- has enabled the settlement, for more than 3000 years, of several important civilizations in these lands. We can still find nowadays several fantastic remains from the Iberian and the Roman. There was a great creativity during the Middle Ages regarding religious architecture and sculpture, as a proof we will mention the Cistercian Route, where you will be able to visit the most hidden places in several monumental monasteries from the 11th to the 16th centuries.
