Calafell has an excellent gastronomic diversity based especially on sea food. In many of the restaurants you will be able to find exquisite dishes cooked with fish of the day, which is very saborous and fresh.

There are two typical dishes of the traditional cuisine from Calafell: “arrossejat” and “xató”, both served in a clay dish, they are delicious for the most demanding gourmet. All these dishes must be eaten with wines and cavas from Penedès denomination, in order to fully enjoy your meal.
